Flux announces the release of Flux 7.7, which allows you to easily design, export, monitor, and edit running jobs and workflows all from your own Web application, embedded with a Javascript widget.

Flux is an embeddable Java job scheduler, file transfer, workflow and business process management (BPM) engine targeted at Java developers. The Flux Web user interface can be embedded seamlessly in Web applications using a JavaScript widget. Additionally, Flux can be embedded and is therefore hidden inside Java applications using Flux's APIs.

Flux's file capabilities support local, FTP, FTP over SSL, SFTP, and UNC hosts and can be configured to wait for incoming files to arrive or to transfer files to remote systems.

Improvements continue to the Flux Web-based job and workflow designer, including the increased scalability of the Flux Web-based Operations Console to support monitoring thousands of jobs and workflows.

Certificate-based SFTP authentication can now be used as an alternative to passwords with SFTP hosts to make configuration of secure file transfers simpler.

Download Flux 7.7, and try it on your own box.
